Video in gallery replaces featured image in Single product

We have added a video in the product gallery.

But now when in single product page the featured image is not shown first, it defaults to the video.
Is there a way to change that?

When you add a video in the Product Gallery section, it will appear together with the gallery images on the single product page — it does not replace or control the featured image. The featured image remains separate and is not automatically overridden by the gallery video.

In WoodMart, this behavior is expected depending on where the video is added.

If you add a video inside the featured image section, the theme treats it as the first media item, so it will be shown first in the slider.

If you add the video inside the product gallery section, it will appear along with the gallery images based on the gallery order, and it does not override or replace the featured image.

So in your case, the video is showing first because it has been added as part of the featured image media. If you want the featured image to appear first instead, add the video in the gallery.

Thank you for your help, we did that and we can add the video in the gallery.
However, we noticed that if we try to add another time the same image that is used in a video, the video gets removed.

I have checked this behavior on a test site and can confirm the same result. When the exact same image is uploaded in the product gallery, WooCommerce regenerates the gallery items and the duplicated attached item is removed automatically.

This is expected behavior due to the way WooCommerce handles duplicated gallery images and media attachments.

As a workaround, please avoid using the same image twice in the gallery.
