chuananzParticipantHi there,
We are using Waitlist For WooCommerce (https://xootix.com/plugins/waitlist-for-woocommerce/) to show a “Notify when available” button on Single Product page. This button show on both simple & variable products when they are out of stock.
However, this plugin doesn’t show the button when we are using the Elementor Layout for Single pages. It works when we deactivate the Single Page layout. We reached out the plugin developer and they recommended the following actions. We tried the first action but it seems like it doesn’t show on variable products and it shows an error when we try opening the Elementor Layout.
We are not sure about what the developer means about action 2.
Could you kindly assist us with this as soon as possible?
Thank you.

chuananzParticipantHi there, could we check if there is an update?
March 28, 2023 at 12:29 pm #454772
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I apologize for the delay.
In the single product layout, at the top of the page you need to define the “WooCommerce Hook” element and choose there the “woocommerce_before_single_product” hook.
Also, you should remove the custom from the plugin’s support, because it will work without it.
The other code that is situated in the
functions.php
file in your parent theme, you need to transfer to thefucntions.php
file in your child theme.Kind Regards

chuananzParticipantThanks for the assistance, the button shows now. However, there is no spacing with the element above and it is not aligned with the full width add to cart element. As such it looks mis-aligned. Could you assist us to fix it?
We would like to have the alignment below (see private content)
Thanks!

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. You can add the spacing to the above element via Layouts to the “Product add to cart” element.
2. Send me a link to the product where these buttons are not aligned so I will investigate it.
Kind Regards

chuananzParticipantHi Luke,
For point 1, we added a margins as per your instructions, but is seems like the spacing for the button is not working.
Could you kind check to see what is going on?
Thanks.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Try to add the code below into the “Global Custom CSS” area in Theme Settings -> Custom CSS.
.single-product .variations_form.cart { margin-bottom: 20px; }

chuananzParticipantThank you, that worked.
On another note, we have another question for the Single Product page image gallery. Could we have it such that the product gallery images changes when the user clicks on the sides of the image (see red rectangle above). I.e the user need not click on the arrow button exactly.
This is because the arrow button is small and hence the user may accidentally
activate the lightbox when he actually wants to view the next image. (Kindly see the image attached)We believe this will be very helpful for the theme and look forward to your kind assistance. Thank you and looking forward to your reply.

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
Unfortunately, there is no such option in our theme and WooCommerce by default. It may require additional code customization or an extra plugin but we don’t have an instruction for this. It is out of our theme support scope.

chuananzParticipantHi there,
I see, do you accept a paid custom work to help us implement this? If so how long and how much will it take?
Thank you
