    Hello Aizaz,

We have not managed to get it fixed and we did it differently.

We have an other problem now were we need some help with. We have a problem with out payment portal for credit card. We use the Plugin Payvision. When starting a payment with Ideal or Paypal, the payment goes through. But when you select creditcard as payment method, there is no way to continue the payment. Instead of showing text fields to fill in the credentials for the creditcard, it will only show the order details like you can see in the attached screenshot.

We have talked to the developer, they are doing investigation at their end but this seems to be related to the theme. According to the plugin developer, there seems to be a DIV element missing when the woodmart theme is activated.

Although, when we switch to a wordpress default theme, it suddenly works.

    What we tried:

    -Enabling woodmart parent theme
    -Disabling all plugins
    -Removing all CSS

We did every logical step to troubleshoot the problem. The developers of the plugin did the same at their side. Also, in the logs from woocommerce and payvision, everything is as it should be.

At the end when we activated the default theme (twenty twenty-one). It worked and we could fill in the card credentials and proceed the checkout.

Yes, we cleared all cache. Nothing seems to work except disabling the theme.

On our previous webshop we were also using the same theme, with the same plugin and the same settings, without any issues. The only difference is that now we are using elementor instead of WP Bakery.

To troubleshoot the problem, you can use the login credentials in private content to login.

I hope you can help us to get this fixed as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

Are we allowed to switch to the default WordPress theme to see how it should work? If not, please, create a staging website where we would be able to perform such kind of test.

    Kind Regards

    Hello,

That is possible if we can arrange a time to do it.

    Thanks in advance,

You can do it now if you want. Can you enable maintenance mode before switching theme’s?

We have tested with the default theme and see that the required DIV element is checkout-container. But this element exists with our theme as well. Here is a screenshot https://prnt.sc/12x9gow
Please, clarify with the plugin developer which DIV element is required if we are looking at the wrong one.

Where are you seeing the div? I am not seeing it.

Could you try to place an order with creditcard? You will see the problem.

    Thanks in advance

But as you see it is not working. This is our problem.

Since the problem only occurs with woodmart enabled, even without any plugins or CSS.

Why is it not showing the text fields?

    Greetings

We don’t know why it doesn’t work. You wrote initially that the DIV is missing with our theme but as you can see it is not. That is why you need to ask the plugin developers why it doesn’t work even when the HTML structure is the same.

Oke thankyou so far. I will show the screenshots to the plugin developer.

    Hello,

The plugin developer says that the iFrame is missing. The div container is showing but it is empty. He asked if this theme is also using a <div id> with the name ‘checkout-container’?

    Thanks in advance
