Website speed very slow on pagespeed scores after changing theme

Dear Support team,
I have gone through all the steps provided on the following guide also bought the WP Rocket.

But to no avail the website is getting slower and slower to a point that the mobile score is not even showing anymore as shown in the following screenshot: https://snipboard.io/9372N1.jpg

We checked your website but see that most of the aspects are not optimized yet. You have some broken resources that slow down your website. Probably, they come with installed plugins. The cache plugin is also not configured. Your home page size is 5MB+ which is too much so you need to go through all the points carefully and optimize them one by one.

I had hired a professional to optimize the website, he was able to get the website to a decent score. However, there are still issues like
– excessive DOM size 2,418 elements
– Minimize main-thread work
– Reduce JavaScript execution time
– Avoid large layout shifts

We tried using the wp-rocket plugin, but there was no effect on the speed of the website rather it just decreased significantly. That is why the person I hired removed that plugin from our website.

We use this plugin for most of our projects including the example from the article and it usually works great. But you can use any alternative plugin for this purpose. Anyway, without cache plugin, your website can’t be optimized for high page speed.
