    Hi helper,

Thank you for your time and support as always!

I don’t know if this is a question should be asked here or not. But this is related to the theme’s layout. So I hope that you could give me some suggestions.

I used the first green template to start building my woocommerce website. I chose “Hide Product Tab Title” in the theme setting to hide the H2 title of “Description”. Hence, there is lack of H2 tag on the product pages. And one day, I received a notice saying something like “The product pages only have H1 and H3, the lack of H2 is not SEO friendly to search engine.”

But unfortunately I cannot find where that notice is. (Tried to find it out but cannot.😩)

    My question:

Is it not SEO friendly if a webpage only has h1 tag and h3 tag?

Shall I add H2 to the content this way?: https://petcron.hk/product/weruva-the-double-dip-cat-can/

I have changed these wordings into H2: https://prnt.sc/RcfAAiOtbb-2

Is this the best practice? Shall I add H2 to all the product pages like this?

    A further IMPORTANT question here:
Because the font size of H2 is quite large, which is not looking good. However, I don’t want to change the H2 font size from the theme setting just for the sake of this purpose.

Am I doing right to use the “span style” to change the font size? Or shall I add a “class” to these wordings and change the font size by adding CSS to control the “class”? Which way is a better choice in terms of website performance?
Would this kind of CSS affect the website performance?

I am sorry for so long. Thank you for your time and help in advance!

    Hello,

Sorry to say but the Site SEO doesn’t come under the Item Support Policy according to Envato defined policies, so we are unable to suggest anything related to that because that isn’t our expertise. Hope you can understand.

Regarding using the H2 tag on the Product page, if you are keen enough to use the H2 tag on the Product page then the best way possible is to use it under the Tabs either the Description tab or if you are using Custom Tab then you can add in that.

The way that you have taken in this regard is correct and you can proceed with that, the Website Performance isn’t compromised with that. So, whichever way is feasible to you, you can get along with that i.e. either by adding class to H2 tags specifically or using span style.

Further, as you know the default layout of the Shop or Category page comes from WooCommerce end and isn’t directly editable with the Page Builder plugins because WooCommerce doesn’t allow it to do so.

But under the WoodMart Theme, using the Theme’s Layout Builder you can create Custom Layouts for WooCommerce pages like Shop, Category, Single Product page, Cart and Checkouts. So, you can use that to create your own custom layouts for these pages too (if you want) and have content in your choice of way.

Further, you can read more about the Layout Builder here: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/

    Best Regards.
