IoriParticipantHi, I want to white label the theme from the core. What’s the best practice of doing so?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.
Please check the Theme Settings > White label. Find our documentation tutorial about this here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/rebrand-theme-white-label-vs-private-label/
Will you clarify what you mean saying “by core”?
Best Regards

IoriParticipantHi, please check the private content of the previous comment. I shared my query there.

IoriParticipantI don’t want these sites (https://scanwp.net/) to detect Woodmart as theme name for security purposes. So, I wanted to change the theme name from “style.css” file and theme image (screenshot.png) and create a child theme from there. I want to know if I need to do these changes again after the theme gets updated or not? Or do you have any white labeling option to prevent those sites from detecting the theme name?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You can remove the “WoodMart” brand from the theme settings and everywhere. All the options are provided in Theme Settings > White label. Find our documentation tutorial about this here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/rebrand-theme-white-label-vs-private-label/
Have you configured all in this tab? Please describe in more detail where you still see “WoodMart”?
Best Regards

IoriParticipantI’ve configured it all and there is no problem with theme settings panel anymore. The concern is :: I don’t want such sites (https://scanwp.net/, https://www.wpthemedetector.com/) to grab Woodmart as theme name. I want to rename the theme name as I don’t want the theme name revealed for security purposes.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Have you tried to make and upload “Appearance screenshot” in the Theme Settings > White label?
Best Regards

IoriParticipantYes. I don’t have any problem with that. Please try to understand the question.
Is there any way to change these options (check screenshot) https://prnt.sc/1r8ow29 without making any change to style.css file? The white label theme name appears correctly when I click on Appearance > Themes. But, when I click on the theme details, it says “Woodmart”.
