White space underneath navigation menu on homepage but no other pages

Why is there a white space underneath the header menu on the homepage? I would like the header to be the same height as the logo.

We add padding to the main wrapping container to make the Woocommerce template look good.

Enter the page and set margin-top:-40px in the upper row settings: http://prntscr.com/lexqqs
