Widgets not working on brand pages and onsale pages

Hi Xtemos

On https://www.rebelcompany.dk/ we are using your theme Basel, but we are having some problems with widgets on special pages like brand pages and on sale pages.

The widgets are working correctly on normal category pages: https://www.rebelcompany.dk/koen/herre/

But not on brand specific pages (https://www.rebelcompany.dk/brand/protest/) or on sale pages (https://www.rebelcompany.dk/tilbud/). The brand pages are created with the plugin WooCommerce Brands and the on sale page are created with the WooCommerce shortcode [sale_products columns="4"].

Please help.

The Wooocommerce Product category and filter widgets work only on the shop page and on the category pages. The brand page may have no products with the attributes added that is why you cannot see them.

Please make the full backup of your site as well as the Theme settings export and check the issue on the Storefront theme to detect if our theme causes the problem. Storefront is a free theme developed by Woocommerce.

I have tried with the Storefornt solution, but when i do that, the “Basel WooCommerce Layered Navigation” widgets gets removed.

Please make sure the products in a certain brand have the attributes which are set for the filter widget. When products do not have, for example, size attribute, this filter widget would not appear as there is nothing to sort out.

Fitler widgets work only on shop and categories pages, they do not work on WP pages.

Are there any other way to create a category page with only on sale products?

The page does not have a sidebar at all. Please configure the sidebar in the Theme Settings > Shop page > Shop page layout, add widgets in the Appearance > Widgets.

The widget would not appear as they appear only on the shop page and on the category page.

You can add custom filters: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/faq-guides-2/upload-custom-fonts/

You need to do the following:

1. Create HTML block and add custom filters: one in one row. If you add a few in one butch, they will be messed in the sidebar. So add on under another;

2. Create a custom Sidebar in the Dashboard > Sidebars;

3. Navigate to Appearance > Widgets, add BASEL HTML Block widget to your custom sidebar https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/widgets-2/;

4. Enter the page and set the custom Sidebar in the page settings: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/options-for-pages-2/
