Hi,
I recently installed the Woocommerce Gift Card plugin. I have been doing some testing and it seems that there is a conflict between the theme and the plugin, as far as I know, on the Cart page (checkout and account area are working).
Problem description: The gift card functionalities on the Cart page are not working, nothing happens when clicking Gift cards buttons. See Video link for clarification in the private area.
What I did first was to contact the Plugin authors and asked them if they could reproduce this error on their end. They answered this:
As far as I understand, the issue here is that Gift Cards cannot apply to the cart page even when the Coupon Input mini-extension is active. Is that right?
If so, then I tried to replicate this issue locally by following the same steps that you did. As you can see in this video: https://a.cl.ly/4guO1zjw, the Gift Card code applied correctly in the cart. Moreover, I was able to remove it from the cart page.
Since I wasn’t able to replicate this issue locally, it is highly possible that it is caused by a conflict with your active theme or some other plugin.
Here’s how we usually address this type of issue:
Temporarily switch back to a default WordPress theme (or Storefront). If this resolves the issue, then please bring this to the attention of your theme author.
If the issue persists, then disable all other plugins except for WooCommerce and Gift Cards. If this fixes the issue, then slowly re-enable plugins until you find the one that triggers it.
I followed their instructions step by step:
1. I removed all the CSS and JS Query added (No results)
2. I deactivated all the unrelated plugins (No results)
3. I switched to Storefront theme (Gift card working)
I do not know what else I can do to fix this. Any suggestion?
