Dear friends,

We have been working hard on our new big update for the WoodMart theme. And 6.3 version is almost ready now. Today, we are releasing our beta version with all the new features and fixes. We still testing and fixing some small bugs but, in general, this version is very close to the final one.

The main new feature added in our new version is WooCommerce Layouts Builders. Now you can build your shop page, single product page, cart, and checkout pages with Elementor or WPBakery page builder. You don’t need to purchase any additional plugins for this like Elementor PRO. All necessary elements are included in our theme and support all our theme’s standard features. Find this functionality under the “Layouts” section in your WordPress dashboard. Documentation for this topic will be added soon.

Our team would be very thankful if you can join our beta test process and take a side look at our new update. We strongly recommend you not to install it on your live/main website. But you can freely install it on your development environment and test it there. Post any bug reports, ideas, and feedback here in this thread. We will help you if you notice any critical PHP errors or plugin conflicts as well.

We will reward everyone who joins our beta test process with 3 extra months of the support period. All you need to do is to install the beta version on your development website, post a link here under the Private content field and write your feedback about the new update.

Where i can find woocomerce page,cart,checkout builder?
1. I get bug with not working custom css after update
2. I get shifting of my social button on footer, and margin on checkout page

I have just gone through the update list. It is huge and looks interesting. Many Congrats to Xtemos and Team.
Getting curious now.
I was thinking of this only, as why it is taking so long (more than 2 months) for the next update, not even any update that requires few fixes. And now, the team has come up with so many updates.

I am in. Will love to try that, for sure.

By the way, in addition to this, I am very much thankful to the New Layout of the Support platform, as requested in Point 8, here in one of the Topic – https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/attribute-terms-are-not-showing-border-while-color-not-at-all-visible/#post-338587

Specially with larger font size, dark-color font, clear white Background. This makes it too pleasant to read and write our own post, Viewing responses. Now feeling much convenient to look at and easy to read.
Also, I think a pagination at top also has been added too, on the main forums page.

Hello, I’m testing new version, and there is a problem on the cart page
“Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token”.

I recently installed the updated version 6.3.0 on staging site (URL inside Pvt content)

Initially I found few bugs or issues-
1. When we click on Select options button from the Grid of each product on the Shop / Archive page, it then shows Nothing. It scrolls for few seconds and then disappears. Even the Quick View and Wishlist icons disappears.
Even though we have enabled to show the Attributes and Ajax Add to Cart on the shop page also, for variable products.
You can try to replicate the same behaviour from our Live site, as it is working there.

And check the same is not working on Shop page of Staging site.

2. The Product tabs on the Single product page are misaligned and overlapping, with CSS breaking too. Mouse-hover top-line is moving towards top (upto few pixels)

3. Social icons on Top bar (in Header, Top Menu bar) are shifted, a bit, towards top. Hence are getting hidden behind the WP Admin Bar too.

4. We managed to show One-line of Title (as excerpt), in the Prev-Next box (shows on mouse-hover) on Single product page. However, it is again showing up Full Title. The same can be replicated on the Live site.

It looks like few custom CSS are not working with the updated version, or some other issue.

5. Even the Sale, New and other Labels are misaligned too, on the Single product page.

6. Above all, I could not find the LAYOUT section anywhere inside the Dashboard,. Hence, unable to check the latest additions of creating Shop, product page, cart, checkout builders too.
I double check with the version, and found that the correct version in installed, with NO errors.
I updated and overwrite the previous version, that is 6.2.0

What could be the reason. Am I missing something.

If I find anything else, I will let you know

@Rom2021 It looks like you have some custom JS code added. Please, try to disable the child theme and test how it works.

@harshwe You need to update the WoodMart core plugin to see the “Layouts” section. And please, create a new topic dedicated to 6.3 update so we can review all your issues one by one.

Yes, i rolled back to the previous one because it my main site. I can install one more time if you say where i can find woocommerce builder to check it and other issue.

We don’t recommend installing it on the main website. But you can do this at your own risk. Feel free to create a new topic if you face any problems.
As for the “Layouts”, you need to update the WoodMart core plugin as well after the update.

The option to update the Core plugin, is not showing up. There is No message, to update the plugin. Nothing like “Update Required” or so. Just like it says for other plugins. And can be seen here-

Hello, i’ve disabled the child theme, and at the same time all plugins that are not in the list of woodmart, but the problem persistes

Does the new version still have the “Ajax import failed…”problem after import dummy demo ?.
I hope you’ll fix it , because i have many clients and i can’t create many tickets to resolve one problem.

@fineorganics, Try to uninstall the WoodMart core plugin completely and install from scratch via Appearance -> Install plugins.

@harshwe try to reinstall WoodMart core as well.

Also, I don’t find where is this new “Layouts” functinoality. I searched everywhere, I dind’t find it. Can you please clarify where it is located? Why not adding in the Woodmart theme panel?

Try to reinstall WoodMart Core plugin via Appearance -> Install plugins to see the new functionality.

WoodMart Core doesn’t appear in Install Plugins, that’s the problem…

You need to uninstall it first. And then install again via Appearance -> Install plugins.

Ok I had to delete completely the WoodMart core plugin, and re-install completely, but there’s real problem here… we can’t ask all users to do that

In the new Layouts, how are we supposed to build the elements? I don’t see any way to add Theme widgets or anything… we just see the default text boxes… how does it work? thanks
