1. i added an Attribute to woocomerce.
2.added this attribute with a value to a few products in category x
3.added “woodmart layered nav” widget to the sidebar and chose the attribute from step 1.the filter is showing, but when clicking the attribute, i loads the page with all the products in the category and doesnt filter the products from step 2.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please check how it works on the Storefront free theme to find out if the problem is caused by our theme. Please note, you should have a few products with different attribute values to make the filter sort out, otherwise, the filter has nothing to do.
Best Regards

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
It means the problem is not caused by our theme. Most likely it is related to configurations. Make sure you have created attributes and attribute values correctly, you use the global attributes: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/
Best Regards
March 25, 2020 at 4:11 pm #182299
shukiParticipantI created the attributes just like that.
what configurations should i be looking at ?March 25, 2020 at 5:01 pm #182309
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Assign the attribute to the products, make sure you have a product for each attribute value, for example, the color attribute should have the products for all the colors.
Best Regards

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I am trying to check your site and it is not workable now. I did not try to log in. Please make sure that you have added different attribute values to the products. My ip is 5.248.118.5

shukiParticipanti have.
please try nowMarch 27, 2020 at 3:39 pm #182837
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
First of all, you have created the attribute items with the incorrect slug https://gyazo.com/546804b63eec0d0a62ade3e77548d36b They should be in Latin letters only.
The second reason you could create your variation incorrectly. Please find more information here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/
Best Regards

shukiParticipantHi, thanks for the help here.
first, i have changed the attribute items slug to latin latters. it has no change.
What didnt i create correctly ? can you be specific ? it works very well besides this bug.March 30, 2020 at 6:50 am #183246
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Now I am checking the site and variations work correctly. I have added פיגמנט לאפוקסי ננו אפקט – שילובי גוונים Aqua color to the cart and it works https://gyazo.com/1ffbf794cac568e3580afb06da1514f6
All the attribute filters work only on the shop page and on the category pages. I do not see filters at the pages. Add them, check if you have any problems, deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme, check again. You have a lot of plugins, no wonder something may work incorrectly. The plugins may conflict.
Best Regards

shukiParticipantHi Elis, please see how the filters dont work , you can see them here:
they load all products and dont filter
March 30, 2020 at 8:22 am #183278
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated for us to check.
Best Regards

shukiParticipanthi, i disabled and tried. still same .
(BTW, i would like to have this category exclusion )February 9, 2021 at 9:20 am #264963
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please make the full backup of your site as well as the Theme settings export and check the Woocomerce filters on the Storefront theme to detect if our theme causes the problem. Storefront is a free theme developed by Woocommerce.
Best Regards
February 9, 2021 at 10:36 am #264985
shukiParticipantHi
But these filters belong to Woodmart theme. they come with the the theme. why test it on storefront ?
anyhow, why not just activate storefront on this site ?February 9, 2021 at 10:32 pm #265154
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
These filters’ functionality is based on the Woocommerce filters. Please test the default filters on the Storefront, just to check the performance of the store.
Best Regards
February 10, 2021 at 7:46 am #265219
shukiParticipanti did as such. it doesnt seem to work
February 10, 2021 at 12:36 pm #265354
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please find the reason it does not work. Try to deactivate plugins, remove customization, as soon as the default filter work with the Storefront, Woodmart filters will also work.
Best Regards
