woodmart theme update

Hi, maybe a trivial question, but I still have some doubts about it.
I have created a child theme on my website (active and customizations have also been made).

Now I noticed that there is an updated version of the main theme, I wonder if I can do the update safely, or risk losing the customizations I’ve made?

Are there other things I need to safeguard to do the theme update??

Please make the full backup of your site and update it as per this manual: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/

The update should not damage the site if you have arranged everything properly.
