WoodMart + WPML Arabic Homepage Memory Issue

I need your urgent assistance with a critical issue affecting our live business website.

Environment:
• WordPress.com Business Hosting
• Latest WoodMart Theme
• WooCommerce
• Elementor
• WPML (Latest Version)

Issue:

The Arabic homepage (https://uapco.store/ar/) becomes blank when the WoodMart theme is active.

The English homepage works correctly.

If I switch to the default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-Five / Twenty Twenty-Two), the Arabic homepage loads perfectly.

As soon as I activate WoodMart again, the Arabic homepage becomes blank.

This issue is affecting our live business website.

1. WPML Support

The WPML support team investigated the staging website and confirmed:

• The Arabic homepage works correctly with the default WordPress theme.
• The issue only occurs when the WoodMart theme is active.
• They identified a fatal PHP memory error during testing.

2. WordPress.com Support

The WordPress.com engineering team also completed a full investigation.

Their findings:

• No hosting issues.
• No server configuration issues.
• No caching issues.
• PHP Memory Limit is already 512 MB (maximum available on WordPress.com).
• They confirmed the issue only happens while rendering the page with WoodMart together with WPML.

They advised me to contact the WoodMart developers because they believe the excessive memory usage is occurring inside the theme during page rendering.

Additional Information

This is not my first website using the WoodMart theme.

I have built and managed several multilingual WooCommerce websites using WoodMart, and I have never experienced this type of issue before.

That is why I believe there may be a compatibility issue or unexpected memory consumption in this particular installation.

I have attached:

• WPML support screenshots
• Videos from the WPML engineer

WordPress.com also confirmed that if you need PHP error logs or server logs during your investigation, they are happy to provide them.

I have also prepared a staging website with administrator access for your testing.

We checked your website and found that the error occurring on the Arabic version is caused by insufficient server memory.

After a detailed investigation, we noticed that some product images on the original language version are only 60–100 KB, while the corresponding images on the Arabic version are 4–7 MB in size. As shown here: https://monosnap.ai/file/7kgNl7SoY4RpXIlImtYhlzkEzQ6iBf

The Products element is configured to use a custom image size. Since the selected images are very large, generating the custom image size requires more memory than your server currently has available, which results in the error.

To make sure this issue is not caused by our theme, we created a new page and added the image using Elementor’s default Image widget with the same custom image size: https://monosnap.ai/file/udgAtVw7kVI54vMLbxMei1SbQkplbT

The same error occurred there as well, which confirms that the issue is not related to our theme.

To resolve this problem, we recommend optimizing your images and reducing their file size to no more than 100 KB whenever possible. This will significantly reduce memory usage and help prevent this error from occurring.

Thank you for your previous investigation.

I have noticed another issue on my website. The footer is not displayed on the Arabic Shop page and some other Arabic archive pages.

Example:
https://uapco.store/ar/shop/ (or provide the exact URL where the footer is missing)

As you can see, the page ends after the product listing and pagination, and the footer does not load at all.

Could you please investigate whether this is related to the WoodMart theme, the Shop Archive layout, or the WPML integration? The footer is enabled in the theme settings, so I would like to understand why it is not being rendered on the Arabic version.

Please let me know if you need any additional information or if you can check this directly on the staging site.

Last night, I reduced the image sizes as you recommended, and after that I checked the website. The issue has been resolved, and everything is working correctly now.

At the moment, I only have one remaining issue. Some text is still not being translated, as shown in the attached screenshot.

01. You are using a custom layout for a checkout page. Navigate to Layouts > Edit checkout layout with elementor change the text into another language

02. Regarding the free shipping bar text, navigate to Theme Settings > Shop > Free Shipping Bar > Change the Initial message.

03. Regarding the widget titles, navigate to Appearance > Widgets > Edit the widget in the shop page widget area and change the titles.

Thank you very much. Everything is now clear and the previous issues have been resolved.

I only have one remaining issue that has existed since I first started using the WoodMart theme. After a customer completes an order, the Thank You / Order Received page appears blank, with no order confirmation or order details displayed.

I have attached a screenshot showing the problem. Could you please test an order on the English version of the website and investigate why the order-received page is empty?

Please let me know the cause and how this can be fixed.
