WPML translation issue

    Hi there, I have a few questions regarding the translations. I am using 3 languages, 1. Hebrew (main) 2. English 3. Chinese
    I have translated all the pages with WPML. but there are few theme default texts that are still in English such as wishlist, how do I translate them? Should I use Loco Translate for this?
    I am confused about the menu translation, I read the documentation but that seems very little for me. Still, I did some steps to make it translate but It did not happen.
    Steps I have taken for the menu:
    1. My primary Menu is in Hebrew
    2. I create two other menus, one for English and one for Chinese.
    3. went to string translation, though my primary header was selected Hebrew, the options to translate were to Chinese and Hebrew. so I made the English one default then added those header ID.
    4. Then I went on to sync the menu but there I saw few translations were not there. Still I went ahead and synced and saved. Then checked the header but it was the as before, Broken
    5. Then I tried, to add in from the page settings, for english I added the header that I created for english. Still it was same.
    So now I look clueless on it.

    And lastly, apart from the menu, in my homepage when I switch to english from hebrew, few sections does(products widget) not show instead shows tag. http://prntscr.com/sjyn7a

    Hello,

    You don’t need to use the loco translation plugin. I have logged into your website and translated the string Wishlist in both Hebrew and Chinese.

    And for the tag appearing it seems that you have used the strong tag inside the element that’s why its appearing there.

    Thanks, I appreciate the help but you didn’t tell anything about the menu yet. This is the main concern and you translated wishlist but there are some more strings that need to be translated. so should I just search the term from string translation and translate them?
    For Menu translations, I followed the instructions written in the documentation and steps I took, described in the previous message. Please reply to that too.
    And, on the homepage, I removed the strong tag but the main problem is that the product carousel widget does not show in the English version. http://prntscr.com/skiinp

    Last but not the least, The mega menus options are not showing still now. I created that issue previously and the reply from your end was to increase the value of PHP max input vars to 5000 which I did http://prntscr.com/skil7w
    If you don’t understand what I am telling you see this: http://prntscr.com/skim83 . No option to assign the mega menu. It was suddenly not showing for last few days.

    These are the few things that do not let me publish the site. I request you to take some time and reply to the all problems I am facing. Otherwise this will delay further to publish my site.

    Hello,

    1. For the Primary menu you should first translate all the categories into both languages in English and Chinese. You have only added the Product properties in the Hebrew language that is why these categories are not showing in the other languages menus. Please see the screenshot for clarification: http://prnt.sc/skvrzr

    2. The products are not showing in the English and Chinese languages page because you have not translated the products into other languages other than Hebrew Language. You should translate all the products into all languages then it will show fine on frontend.

    3. Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins from your site except the theme required plugins and WPML plugins. I am sure your mega menu issue will be solved.

    Hi, thanks a lot for the help. Just a quick issue is the mega menu assign option. If you refer to my 1st message. The option to assign a mega menu from menus is not showing. I also found the plugin that is causing the problem, that is “Menu Icon”.
    I think this plugin came with your installation. I also used menu image so disabling that would be a problem. Can you please look into this to check why suddenly it is causing the problem as it was working fine and suddenly stopped working few days ago.

    Unfortunately, we could not help you with this because its a third party plugin issue and this is out of our theme support scope.

    This plugin is not included with our theme installation. If you want to use icons for the menu items you need to set them from Products >> Categories >> Edit Categories.
