You can’t exit the mobile menu without leaving the page

Hello!

I want to write about an important bug in your theme that can only be found on a mobile device.

When a person opens a menu on a mobile phone, he cannot exit it by tapping on an empty space on the screen. That is, you can exit the mobile menu only by clicking on one of the menu items and nothing else.

My clients complain to me and I have to write to you about it.
I agree with them that this is inconvenient if you want to close the menu while remaining on the page where you were before calling the menu.

I really like your theme and I would like it to become even better!

Когда человек открывает меню на мобильном телефоне он не может выйти из него тапом на свободном месте экрана. То есть из мобильно меню можно выйти только путем нажатия на один из пунктов меню и никак по другому.

Мои клиенты жалуются мне об этом и я вынужден вам об этом написать.
Я сними согласен что это неудобно если хочешь закрыть меню оставаясь той странице где был перед вызовом меню.

Мне очень нравится ваша тема и я хотел бы чтобы она стала ещё лучше

Если проверять из емулятора мобильных устройств на Хром но все хорошо

We just tested this on our demo and it works well on mobile devices. We can close the mobile navigation sidebar by clicking on the dark area. Could you please clarify if you had this on your website only?

On other sites on my device, I can exit the menu without leaving the current page.

Also, not the latest version of Woodmart works for me, but Woodmart 6.2.4

Perhaps the reason is in my site? When a menu is open, the area outside it is not dimmed. Please check the problem on it.

На моем устройстве установлен Андроид.
На других сайтах на своем устройстве я могу выйти из меню не покидая текущую страницу.

Также у меня работает не последняя версия Вудмарт, а Woodmart 6.2.4

Возможно причина в моем сайте? Когда открыто меню область вне его не затемняется. Проверьте неисправность именно на нем пожалуйста

I checked the footer.php code of the Woodmart template child theme. There is no such code
Personally, I did not change anything there, but I sometimes hire freelance programmers – maybe they changed something. But it was definitely without my knowledge.

I also worry that there are places in this file where the code is highlighted in red

После вставки кода протестировал с телефона (в режиме инкогнито) – чёрный фон меню не появился. Проблема не решилась. Перед этим кэш почистил, но это тоже ничего не поменяло

This code should be in the parent theme’s original footer.php file. You need to make sure that the child theme file has the same code.
You can try to rename the file in the child theme and see if it affects this or not.
