Youtube Embeds in posts not aligning

Hi there, I am embedding a youtube video into a blog post. By default the video is left aligned, I wanted the video to expand and take up the full width of the article body but it did not resize (when using the youtube block controls for full width).

I then tried to at least align the video to the center in the post body, but the video did not change alignment.

Is there an issue with woodmart and basic wordpress block functionality or am I missing something on youtube embeds?

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like Twenty-twenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand whether it is our theme issue?

I switched to 2024 momentarily and the blog posts respected the alignments that I chose in all cases. Attaching screenshots.
