kayssParticipantI am switching from Avada and we used to have archiving enabled for some of our attributes such as brands. Is there a way to have the brand filters indexable with your plugin? If I have to keep the archives enabled, do you have any templates where that is done so I can see how its setup alongside your faceted navigation?
I essentially need to know if we need to redirect our current archive pages or if we will continue using that system, which to me seems counter intuitive since now we will have the faceted navigation and be able to filter by brand. I just want to make sure we dont hurt our current SERPS.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I am afraid Avada builder and Avada functionality would not be compatible with WoodMart theme, you need to deactivate the theme, builder and all included plugins to Avada,
Then you need to enable all the plugins in Appearance > Installed plugins and recreate all your pages and posts from scratch.
Please follow this manual: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/installation-process/

kayssParticipantYou didnt answer any of my questions at all or seemed to have understood the question. Thats not what I asked, I do not need Avada compatibility, I simply just referenced our old setup. We did not use a faceted navigation as it wasn’t provided by Avada so we had to have our brand pages archived to be able to display products belonging to each brand. Now we have the filters so we dont need a seperate page for each brand, I think. Do you have a template website where the brand attribute “enable archiving” toggle is activated so that I can see how it is set up. If not, what is the recommended method to have each brand filtration indexable as to not lose our SERP rankings?
Also, I would not recommend to anyone reading this thread to follow the advice of simply deactivating Avada and then installing Woodmart on the same wordpress installation. You will have a more difficult time performing all the database corrections necessary to undo all the baggage left by Avada. You are better off setting up a fresh build and importing/exporting your products, categories, orders and other data.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
You can find the option to “Enable Archive” in every attribute when you edit it. Then an attribute page would show the products assigned.
In addition, you can consider using Woodmart attribute filter it allows to select the category where you want to show this or that filter.
Please have a look at these manuals: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/widgets-and-sidebars/
and this one: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/variable-products-and-swatches/

kayssParticipantDo you have an example where this is done? I know how to enable it, that was not what I was asking for help with.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please have a look at this screen to see how to enable archives: https://gyazo.com/524fef68058f95858d53cc98667ef657 and https://gyazo.com/4eca4847756f302dd92eb69787879430
WoodMart provide wider options for Brand attribute, please check this manual: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/product-brands/
You can show the Brand logo on the product page, and you can show brands as a grid or carousel with the Brand widget/element in the builder you use on the site: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/elements-and-widgets/
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
