    Hello Luke,

I come across 2 issues. I will first discuss one of these. Then 2nd, later-on.

    1. I have created 2 Slides using WM slider to show on Home page. Each separate for Desktop and Mobile. Both seems working correctly, as intended while we view on Desktop and as a Mobile Emulator (even while switched to mobile on Elementor, as can be seen in video).

However, when we view on Actual Mobile device we found that there is a padding of around 40 px at Top and Bottom of the image for each of slide. (Images attached)

From below Video it can be seen that there is No Padding (Top and Bottom) for mobiles (in Elementor, as well as mobile view on Desktops), on each of that Slide. And No padding set for Section or Column or Image itself.

However, just for representation, I tried to add 40px margin (Top and Margin), in the column of one Slide, to show, that this much of space is showing in actual Mobile devices.

    Video Link-

If for some reason, Video do not plays, then the Slides for your reference for you to check with-

What is missing or wrong in this. Why there is so much space or padding (top and bottom) visible on actual Mobile devices.
    How can we fix this.

    Please suggest and resolve

    Hello,

I have checked the issue on my mobile device and there are no such indentations as you have on your screenshots, please check:

    Hello Luke,

The screen similar to yours *screenshot shared by you) is the one I am seeing on one of the mobile (Nokia 7 plus).
And the attachments that I shared earlier is from another mobile (Vivo Z1 pro). This one is still showing around 40px padding (or indent), at Top and Bottom parts.

Also, as you can see from your own screenshot, there is still some padding or gap at top and bottom. While, the same is still not visible when we edit in the Elementor

From that previous Video also, it can be seen that there is No Padding (Top and Bottom) for mobiles (in Elementor, as well as mobile view on Desktops), on each of that Slide. And No padding set for Section or Column or Image itself.

    1. Can you please help to remove this small gap also (as can be seen in your screenshot. Same in Nokia 7 Plus also at our end)
    2. And why we are seeing such a huge padding or gap in Vivo Z1 Pro. How can we fix that.

    Regards

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.

As I see it’s a live site so can I make some tests there? For instance, plugins deactivation, switching to the parent theme.

    I await your response.

    Kind Regards

    Important:
    Hello Luke,

Yes, you can test and deactivate the Plugins and switch to Parent.

A kind request: Whenever you disable or switch to parent, please try to revert back as soon as possible. As the site is Not only LIVE, but we have also started receiving Orders. So just thought to inform you, so that it may not impact visitors and buyers (atleast for longer)
And please Do NOT update or Delete any Plugin. Only Deactivate and Activate.

Rest, I know you will take care of things. Please proceed.

Update: By the way, this is the most favourable time, due to minimum traffic and visitors. If possible, please try to check now, if you can (or within next 2-4 hours)

    Regards

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.

After I looked into the situation, I found that it’s not padding, actually, you see the background color of the slider due to the sizes of images for the mobile, so if you remove the bg color of the slider, that issue will disappear.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help and have a good day!

    Kind Regards

    Hello Luke,

I think you misunderstood my query. I did not asked about the BG color of the slides actually, rather I informed about the extra Padding or space showing at Top and Bottom parts.

However, still, as per your suggestion, I tried to remove the BG color from one of the Slides of the Slider. And found that the Space or padding is still there on Top and Bottom parts of that specific Slide.

The point is that, this spacing is Not visible while we check in the Elementor (while Editing Slide page) for that Slide (and with Mobile View enabled in Elenentor).
Also, The padding is Not there in Laptop (slides visible for Laptop or Desktops), nor in mobile view from the Laptops itself. That spacing is visible only in Real Mobiles.

Please refer previously attached images again for your reference, alongwith the Video (attached earlier).

Also, now please refer Newly attached screenshot. That were taken after removing the BG color of one of the Slide.
This clearly indicates the Huge gap at top and bottom of the 1st slide. (As we removed BG color on just 1st slide for testing purpose). Although we have reverted back and enable the BG color again.
PS: You can remove the BG color at your end, for testing purposes, if you want.

Point is where this Spacing or padding coming from and can we rectify this. There is No spacing set for Columns, image or Sections whatsoever, for this Slide (enabled for mobiles), and the same can be replicated in our previous video too. You can check from backend also (in the edit mode of slides)

Can you please now check into the issue thoroughly and help to fix this.

    2. Also, I asked about this, but you Closed the ticket, without any response on that-

    Hello,

    1. You have defined the image in the section through the appropriate element, in such cases, it will not work as you want therefore you have 2 ways to define it:

    1. Define the image as a background of the slide.

    https://prnt.sc/zoT5Tgd4M5w5

    2. Define the Image as a background of the section in the page builder.

    https://prnt.sc/ZnKnQZrjtVd4

    2. No patch planned yet.

    Kind Regards

    Hello Luke,

    1. a, b) With both of your suggestions here (as in 1 a b), I think this will not work.
As setting a BG image alone will not show anything. That is, if we set image either as a BG for section or BG for Slide, it won’t display anything on Front-end, in mobile. (probably being it just the BG image)

May be I am missing something. If so, then please suggest and set the image as BG and let me know the settings, with which it will work and display.

Can you please check at your end by duplicating both the existing slides (so that it won’t interfere with our existing Slides, as these are Live)-

    https://www.vasangini.com/woodmart_slide/slide-mk-handbag-banner-elem-on-13-dec-22/

    Important to note:
Currently, the Top and bottom gap is Not visible when we are viewing in Elementor (by switching to mobile as responsive mode, or while by directly viewing on browser (as a mobile, by shrinking the window).
It only gets visible while viewing in Real mobile device. So probably there might be some glitch that may require a fix.

Try to change those relevant sections of each slide, that we set Enabled for Mobiles only. After you set the image as BG for Slide or Section, You will find it won’t display anything on frontend (while viewing on mobile)

    Please check and resolve.

What we are looking for is to get rid of the extra space showing at Top and Bottom in real mobiles (whether it is a blank space or as a part of BG color), that we explained earlier, while creating the Ticket.

PS: We are not displaying any other content in the Slides, just the Image.

    Regards

    Hello,

As I right understood, you want to show the text from the image on any device.

    https://prnt.sc/vslKZLZLH0Tm

In this case, this slider doesn’t fit for that, it won’t be able to adjust such images with text on any device. In your case, you defined it via the Element, in general, it works but as a result, you will have these gaps on real mobile, which cannot be fixed, because this slider doesn’t take into account the use of images with text.

Feel free to reach out so we can discuss possible options moving forward.

    Kind Regards
