I don’t understand, when i downloaded theme, i activate child theme, but now i see that child theme is not activated. What i need to do?

I began making website, as i understand with parent theme. Today I activated child theme and all settings was saved. Now can i proceed making website? Or i need redownload the theme?

Now you can create your site. Each time you need to update the theme, update only the parent theme. Never update the child theme, not to lose the customization.

Make the full site backup before you are going to install new plugin, update something or any considerable actions.
