I have created a filter in appearances > filters, but I am unable to figure out how to add them to my category. Currently it does not show?

You can take WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav and you will find the option to select the category in which this filter would appear. All these widgets are provided in Appearance > Widgets.

You have not configured the products in the categories like: “Novelty Toilet Paper” category.
Also you have selected the category in the shop page. Try to choose the “shop” page for this:
