    Hi,
during installation I’ve imported WoodMart Main dummy content.
Then I tried to import some pages. So I get this problem:
All pages below SHOP PAGES and PRODUCT HOVER menu present like in the attached files (placeholder text) instead of the page like in your demo theme
I tried deleting all the dummy content and then load again WoodMart Main.
No way to have the right pages
For example I provide how should be and howI see this url: http://narrateworld.supergap.it/shop/?opts=filters_area

    thanks

    Solved About strange content.
I don’t know why but WooCOmmerce translate ‘shop’ as ‘negozio’ (italian) in the permalink. I changed it back to Shop and now it works. I wonder what is that test that appears…where it comes from?

But what I can’t understand is how to manage shop kind pages.
For example if want to have my opening shop page like a LIST (like this https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/?opt=list_view), the way to get it is to add /?opt=list_view to my shop page url in the menu? Or there are setting in the page to do that?
If I would like to have a simple url like http://www.sitename/shop (with no ? and so on), but I want a specific shop page stile (like HEADER OVERLAP or NOPAGE HEADING), how to get it?

    Thanks

    Hello,

You can translate/rewrite all theme and plugin texts via PO file in WordPress. Here is a video tutorial that should help you translate your website texts with a Loco Translate plugin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3

Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. You can remove the plugin and translations would remain. Also, translations would remain after each theme update.

In order to translate the WooCommerce strings, you need to create a separate translation in Loco > Plugins > WooCommerce in the same way as shown in the video.

As for the shop page, you can configure the page in the Theme Settings > Product Archives > Product Gird/Product Styles.

    Best Regards

Hi regarding the Shop Page URL, my question was:

There are several way to display the shop page (for example: no page heading, bordered grid..and so on).
This is great to have different shop pages in different parts of the site. For example I can use a certain type of Shop page for a category (kitchen), and another kind for another category (tables).
but, in your theme to get a shop page with some features (like Hidden side bar) the url for this page must be http://narrateworld.supergap.it/shop/?opts=hidden_sidebar’). But of course I don’t want a url like that because it not good from SEO point of view. Usually working with other themes to get a ‘hidden sidebar’ shop page they provide a code like [hidde_sideber Shoppage] to place in the page. But the URL of the page I can decide by myself.
Do you have something that work like that? or something to avoid to have a ‘?something’ at the end of the shop page. I’m sure there’s a setting that I can’t yet understand.

    Thanks

    hi,
I try to explain with an example. I wold like to create a blog page.
Usually, on the most part of themes. I create a page and there is something like a container and I select an element ‘blog’. This element can have some properties (for example Mansory or Chess). If I decide Chess it appears like Chess. The name of the page is sitename/blog..

I see that your ‘chess blog’ use this url: http://narrateworld.supergap.it/blog/?opts=blog_chess.
You can see that the url is not /blog, but is /blog?opts=blog_chess.

Ok. Starting form here, my issue is: if I want a blog with Chess feature I need to use that url (/blog?opts=blog_chess.)? Can’t I have the /blog page as in other sites (where url is independent from the blog structure?).

The same is for Shop pages.

    Thanks

You can create a page, add a row or section and insert the Blog WoodMart widget inside: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/elements-and-widgets/

I see that your ‘chess blog’ use this url: http://narrateworld.supergap.it/blog/?opts=blog_chess.
You can see that the url is not /blog, but is /blog?opts=blog_chess.

When you create the page that would be used for Blog, the slug URL is generated based on the page title by default, you can manually change it. The URL format is configured in the Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks.

The blog can be shown in two ways: you create a page, it should be empty, and you select this page for the blog in the Dashboard > Settings > Reading.

Another way is to create a page and insert the Blog widget inside.

    Best Regards
