Bug with product page hover & variation swatch images

Hi,

On Product page sometimes the hover does not show the correct image.

To reproduce
Have a product with 1 main image
Have a few variation swatch with image
Go to product page
hover the main image = ok
select a variation swatch image
hover the variation image = ok
Click on delete to unselect the variation
now we see the main image = ok
hover the main image = NOT OK we see the latest variation image instead of the main image

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

if the problem remains, even after the plugins deactivated, please, provide your site admin access to the private area.

Please confirm the permit for us to deactivate the plugins not related to the theme and switch to the parent theme for the while of checking what may take up to 15 minutes.

If I was you I would check your theme and try to reproduce.
I provided all information to test.
Note I’m using the same image in attribute swatch and attribute variation.

Unfortunately the only demo that have attribute variation with image seems to be the one with the glasses and it’s maybe not a coincidence this is not using the hover zoom…
If there is another demo with image variation swatch so I can check?

Could you point me the javascript code page related to this hover zoom?

I have checked and no error in console too.

Note if I refresh the page it display the correct image but this not make sense to reload the page each time I click on delete.

I cannot provide access to the store.

Do you have a live link that use variation attribute with Image swatch and hover zoom or provide a video to make sure you understand the problem

You cannot reproduce the bug with color only you need to use images like Glasses demo example.
Note, I’m using the same image for attribute and product variation swatch.

Proof of concept see the video in private content.
This way you will be able to reproduce.

Your example is using a color not an Image have you checked my video ?

Plus you need to click on clear to reproduce
And it use only 1 main product image

Please take the time to check my video and reproduce it.
