Can I make the categories button in the menu clickable to fix the list?

Good afternoon, dear team!

The Woodmart theme already has a button to display categories in the main menu. In its current view, the drop-down menu returns on mouse hover and disappears when the cursor leaves.

The question arose: is it possible to make a clickable category button in the main menu to display a fixed list that would not disappear when the cursor moves to the side and collapsed by a second click? Roughly speaking, about the same principles as the mobile menu button works, but without displaying categories in the side menu, but with displaying categories in a drop-down list.

I tried to do something similar through the html block, but it seems that there is no suitable one. I may be missing something

Yes, thanks, I meant something else. I was not talking about the dropdown menu items under the main menu, but about the category dropdown menu attached to the button. It is about this drop-down menu (in the screenshot)

You can keep them open or open on hover.
