Can’t add items to side menu

Hi,
I’m using mega-electronics demo; pretty easy so far, but now I can not add items to the lateral menu (the one with icons). I need to add many categories for goods in store, but I don’t understand how add new items capable of set an item i the menu that contain dropdown settings and image settings. I’m surely miss something but I don’t understand what.

If something does not work as it should, confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back, however, the site would be without plugins for 15-20 min. You would better make the full backup of your site.
