hello, I would like to remove the image of the header on category page. Additionally is it possible to display the images of sub-categories on the category header?

You need to set parent and child categories in Product > Product categories. As the result, when you click the category, sub-categories would appear as the drop-down.

Just wondering if there is a purpose that would enable a gallery carousel on the product archive / category / shop pages in WooCommerce?

This would allow users to swipe through the product gallery images before they clicked in to the single product page itself without leaving the archive / category / shop pages.

Unfortunately, Woocommerce does not provide such an option and WoodMart does not either.

You can try to search for a plugin for such a purpose. I have heard there are some, however, we have not met or tested them.

Woocommerce filters work on shop and product categories only. This is Woocommerce functionality and WoodMart does not influence.
