    Hello there

We’ve recently switched to this theme but since going live, images are loading up a lot smaller than they did during development.

As you can see from this product – https://www.jollysjewellers.com/product/9carat-white-gold-marquise-sapphire-solitaire-w-diamond-accents-size-p/

The image of the ring looks really small whereas another example – https://www.jollysjewellers.com/product/9carat-yellow-gold-heliodor-white-topaz-cluster-ring-size-n-8x15mm/

The ring looks large and fills the page. Is there a reason why its creating a thumbnail of this size? Both original images are large and above the pixels it should be.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I have visited the URLs you provided. Basically the product images are controlled by WooCommerce and our theme doesn’t influence them. WooCommerce provides the settings for images that you can find under Appearance >> Customize >> WooCommerce >> Product Images.

You can set the main image width according to your needs.

    Best Regards.

    Hello Awan

    Thank you for this.

Previously, a colleague would crop the image’s within WooCommerce when listing new items and it would display the cropped/edited image. Now when cropping, it’s serving a scaled image and the original image URL remains the same size.

I was just wondering if this was controlled by the theme to display scaled images if cropped? If not, we’re going to have to start cropping images prior to uploading them but I thought I would check beforehand as this can help save time, allowing us to list more items daily.

    Many thanks

    Ashley

    Hello,

Sorry but the images are not controlled by our theme they are controlled by WooCommerce.

You need to set the image size and crop according to your needs as from the settings I mentioned in my previous reply.

    Best Regards.
