mfj1ParticipantHi,
Feel like this should be obvious but I’m struggling to find it.
How do I change the format of the product listing page (ie the list of products in a category).
I know I can use the settings in Products Grid and Products Styles, but I want more customisation options.
1) should I just edit the css?
2) if I create an elementor page can I use that? how?
3) any hooks I should be using?Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The shop page and the category pages are not editable, they are functional pages. You can configure the shop page and category page. The shop page is configured in the Theme Settings > Shop page, the category page inherits all the shopping page settings.
You can add the description to the category page created in the Elementor. https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/html-blocks-2/#cat_att_tag
Best Regards

mfj1ParticipantThanks, but if I want to show my own how do I do it? There is obviously a way. I don’t mind if I lose access to customisation via the backend settings.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You can create your own custom page, add any content to it and show the products related to this category by means of Product Grid. https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/product-grid-carousel-element/

mfj1ParticipantThanks, that’s great but how do I tell Woocommerce to use that page? I can’t seem to set it on Elementor if I design a Single Page, it’s not an option. I’ve found lots of plugins like Anywhere Elementor that allows it. Is that the only way?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
This would be a custom page but with your template and content. If you want to customize Woocommerce templates, you would better consider this plugin: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/building-custom-woocommerce-sites-with-toolset/
Best Regards
