Child and main theme

Hello whats the different on child or main theme ?
Which one is faster ?
And do you have idea to make it more faster on woodmart or wordpress ?
We are using cloudflare and amazing cloud hosting 8 cpu 16gbram unlimited traffic we are already using hosting procecces %20 but website is slow, we did it optimize all images but still slow we need help 🙂

2. WoodMart theme is optimized for speed and should not significantly slow down your website. However, it’s possible that your website’s performance is affected by the content you have added. For instance, the use of too many plugins, large unoptimized images, or other resources can slow down your website.
