Child theme is crashing the Website

    Hi there,

    since i ve updated to 7.0 i have a lot of issues with your theme.

    The Parent theme works mostly correct with Woocommerce but when I enable the Woodmart Child theme then it crashes the page.

    i ve deactivated all plug ins and reactivated every plug in step by step and the site crashes when the child theme and woocommerce are enabled together.

    Hello,

    Please make sure that you have not customized the theme or Woocommerce templated PHP files in the child theme. If yes, then please ask your developer to check the customization code and set it according to the new theme update. There is no issue with the latest theme and Woocommerce plugins.

    thank you for your quick rensponse.

    Yes we have not customized the woocommerce templates or any other file.

    but we have issues with the latest version since 7.0 and woodmart child theme.

    Please help uns in this way.

    Could you please once take complete Backup of your Site first, then provide us the permission to completely debug your Site which includes deactivating all the third party Plugins and removal of on-Site Customization changes too, so that we can thoroughly check this issue on your Site and assist you accordingly.

    Along with that, please share your CPANEL Login details too so that we can look after this issue correctly:

    I dont have access to the Cpanel etc.

    I only have access to the FTP.

    Will that be helpfull?

    Hello,

    Kindly, please first Backup your Child Theme code at your end because we might need to delete and recreate the Child Theme on your Site.

    Then please share your Site WP-ADMIN Login details in the Private Content field along with the FTP logins (if CPANEL are not available) so that we can check and help you with that.

    Firstly, we want to Apologize for all the inconvenience caused.

    Secondly, regarding your mentioned concern we have checked it further and found out that the Critical Error that is occurring on your Site upon Child Theme activation is due to the Customization done in the Child Theme, here you can check out the Error log: https://ibb.co/8x1whF4

    This clears the fact that it is specifically a Customization concern on your Site because we have confirmed from the Test Site, the Child Theme is working fine with the PHP version 7.4 and greater.

    So, you can please once delete the Child Theme on your Site > and then recreate it and then check back the issue again. Hopefully, you won’t have any issues by then.

    Note: For the checking process, when we activated the Child Theme on your Site, it showed the Critical Error so we weren’t able to access the WP-ADMIN again and in your provided FTP Login details, you didn’t provided the FTP Host Name so we are unable to proceed further.

    I have sent them yesterday.

    But i have followed your instructions and deleted and reinstalled the child theme now everything works fine.
