Editing the Filters in the Side Bar

Good morning, I am trying to figure out how I can edit the filters in the shop side bar, i can’t seem to find the place to do this.

I would like to know where to edit and how to add or remove options please.

Hello look like i have found the place in the widget area, however I am having trouble figuring something out.

I would like for teh side bar to show product categories, but only top level catgories.

The option is showing all categories and sub categories and I do not know how to change this.

To fix the widget area issues Try to install Classic Widgets plugin to fix this problem:
