mathias.duchParticipantSo i have a b2b site using woodmart.
I have all the prices hidden unless you’re logged in.
The only issue is that there is a workaround, where if you press “buy it now” then it takes you to your cart where the price is visible.how do i go about fixing this?

Hung PhamKeymasterHi mathias.duch,
Thanks for reaching to us.
By default, if the option enabled then form cart will be hidden like this https://prnt.sc/Z3Z11mGT8Uqo
You should deactivate all plugins (except Required Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi mathias.duch,
It caused by Elementor Pro plugin, I disabled it and it worked again.

mathias.duchParticipantBut your documentation states specifically that this theme works with Elementor?
March 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm #551084
mathias.duchParticipantI have now contacted Elementor, and they confirm that there is a conflict between Elementor Pro and the Woodmart theme.
and to quote what they said:
“What I can suggest here is for you to reach out to the Woodmart theme support and have them check for an issue within the theme. If they confirm the theme files and scripts fine, then they can reach out to our developers over GitHub.com/elementor and collaborate with them and work on a conflict fix together.”
March 21, 2024 at 2:14 pm #551090
mathias.duchParticipantThis was their follow-up after having a technician review the case:
Upon reviewing your case, it appears that the conflict lies within the interaction between the theme’s functionality to hide prices for non-logged-in users and the behavior of the Elementor Pro plugin.
As much as we’d like to offer a solution to this issue, it falls outside the scope of our support capabilities. Themes and plugins are developed independently, and ensuring compatibility between them often requires adjustments or customizations specific to each case. Since this matter pertains to the functionality of the Woordmart theme, we recommend reaching out to their support team once more for further assistance. They would be better equipped to provide guidance or possibly offer a solution tailored to your specific setup.
Should they need any help from us, they can open an issue on our Github account and our developers will be happy to assist. https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues

Hung PhamKeymasterHi mathias.duch,
I tested on my end with Elementor Pro activated, the functionality worked well https://prnt.sc/gZMkhS8ov0Kc

Hung PhamKeymasterHi mathias.duch,
Thanks for reaching to us.
It caused by Custom Single Product layout that built with Elementor Pro https://prnt.sc/Y8agoM3dV4fy – I moved it into Trash and functionality worked again.
If you want to build Custom Single Product layout, you can use WoodMart WooCommerce Builder, which is part of WooCommerce builder from WoodMart.
Please refer to below documentation article to understand how to edit / remove content:

mathias.duchParticipantOk, i will rebuild the layout in your editor.
I assumed the elementor builder would work too.
Thank you for helping.March 23, 2024 at 5:52 am #551589
