ZeroParticipantHi!
I have the same problem as laubrif had in the following post:
https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/edit-and-cuztomize-woodmart-shop-page-with-elementor/When I try to edit the Shop page, I get an error saying that the Content area is not found.
I have made sure that Layouts in the Elementor > Settings are enabled. You seem to have fixed the problems for laubrif, but I don’t know how you did it! ?
Admin acess is inserted below!
Many thanks

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please consider using the Woocommerce builder of WoodMart allowing to create custom templates for product pages and other functional pages that are not editable by default. Woocommerce builder is the inbuilt functionality widget included in the builder you use on the site.
Please check this manual:
https://xtemos.com/docs-cat/woocommerce-layouts-builder/?theme=woodmart and https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/shop-page-builder/Best Regards.

ZeroParticipantHi!
Thanks for your quick reply.
I guess the thing I’m struggling with, is to understand how the demo site is built up so that I can learn from it.
And that’s why I’m trying to understand how the shop page is configured in the demo site.I now understand that WooCommerce shop pages cannot currently be directly edited by Elemento.
But how was that page created? When I look under Dashboard -> Layouts, there are no existing layouts, so I guess that’s not how the demo site is configured.
Is it not possible to view how the demo sites Shop-page is configured, or am I missing something!?
Many thanks for your help

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You can configure the shop page in the Theme Settings > Shop and also in the Theme Settings > Product Archives.
If you want to change the layout of the shop page then create the own custom layouts or use the predefined layouts.
Best Regards.

ZeroParticipantHi!
I’m still struggling to understand how the shop page works!I have as you suggested created a layout for the shop that I named Butik
That layout uses Products (grid or carousel) to show only two of my categories.
I have then updated WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products ->Shop page and asigned the new layout to WooCommerce Butik
The problem I’m now having is that the new shop page does not seem to render the Elementor code correctly.
The reason I assigned the new shop layout to WooCommerce was that there are a lot of places that links to the main “Shop” page within WooCommerce (if you for example open the Cart, there is a link that lets the user return to the Shop)
Many thanks.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
After creating an archive layout the original shop page will not show. You can create a custom layout for specific conditions such as a shop page, Product categories, etc.
The Conditions under the Layout are used to apply Layouts to certain Pages, custom layout overrides the functionality of the functional woocommerce page:
For more details check this manual:
