1. Navigate to Dashboard -> Layouts -> Products archive and click the add button.

2. Enter a layout name and configure where it should be displayed.

Set layout conditions

Conditions let you use different layouts for the main shop, particular product taxonomies, and filtered archive states. Available conditions include:

  • All product archives, Shop page, and Shop search results
  • Product categories, Product tags, Product brands, and Product attributes
  • Product term and Child product categories
  • Filtered by attribute, Filtered by term, Filtered by any attribute, and Filtered by stock status

Combine Include and Exclude rules when a broad archive layout needs exceptions. More specific matching conditions take precedence over an All product archives layout.

Products archive elements

The following elements display data from the current WooCommerce archive and provide its catalog controls.

Archive content

  • Archive products — displays products from the current archive query. Use this instead of a manually configured Products element when the listing must follow the current shop, taxonomy, search, pagination, and filter state.
  • WooCommerce title or Archive title — displays the title for the current shop page, product taxonomy, or search results.
  • Archive description — displays the shop page content or the description of the current product taxonomy term.
  • Category extra description — displays the additional description configured for the current product category.
  • Product categories — displays a category grid or category navigation.

Catalog controls

  • Products per page — lets customers change the number of products displayed on each archive page.
  • Result count — displays the number and range of products in the current result set.
  • Order by — lets customers sort products by options such as popularity, rating, date, and price.
  • View — provides the available product grid or list view controls.
  • Active filters — displays the currently applied filters and lets customers remove them.

Filters and sidebar

  • Filters area — displays the Shop filters widget area or the selected filters HTML Block in a horizontal collapsible section.
  • Filters area button — opens and closes the Filters area. Add both elements when the area should be collapsible.
  • Product filters — builds a filter form directly in the editor without relying on a widget area.
  • Sidebar — displays a selected widget area, commonly the shop sidebar configured under Appearance -> Widgets.

Supporting WooCommerce elements

  • Page title — displays the theme page-title section and follows its global Theme Settings.
  • WooCommerce breadcrumbs — displays the visitor’s current catalog location.
  • Notices — displays WooCommerce errors, warnings, and success messages.
  • WooCommerce Hook — restores a selected WooCommerce PHP hook for extensions or custom code.
