Featured and Recently Added items Carousel

Hello,

How can I change the number of products in the “featured” and “recently added” carousel?

For example:
Currently, on my home page, I have only 4 products being displayed in “featured” and “recently added” carousel. I know that I have marked a lot more products in each of those two categories. But when you scroll in the carousel, you can only see 4 in each section.
I would like to see more. How can I configure it to show 8, 16, 32 or as many as I want?
