FEATURED PRODUCTS – shop items layout

Could someone please help us set up our shop on front page same as the woodmart demo

would really appreciate it. I’m a bit of a rookie, so if you could please provide step by step.

Also see image attached – to be sure we are on the same page.

We would really like to set up the Best Sellers, Featured , Sale section , just as you have .

And then also would like to have our item show up in these beautiful neat white boxes you have used in demo , where everything is aligned . if you see out product on front page , the sizes and pricing and all over the place with sizing etc

did you actually look at my site before giving me them instructions …

i think it was already applied, and i had been editing it.
So when i followed you instructions , it applied it again and my prior work was overwritten . . .

you really screwed me. its gonna take me so so long fiddling and changing everything to get it back to how i had it before.

shit .. really not good at all 🙁 as I’m not super tech savvy it really took me quite some time to get everything how i liked it . and now gotta do it all over again

You asked the page same as Woodmart demo. I provided instructions on how to get the site same as the Woodmart demo.

Please be clear in setting your questions and make site backups from time to time. Visit your host support, perhaps you have automatic updates and they will help you to restore the site.

i literally circled what we wanted to change,

i even said “Also see image attached – to be sure we are on the same page.”

and attached the image if 3 things we were trying to get assistance with.

and i put it in text as well “We would really like to set up the Best Sellers, Featured , Sale section , just as you have .

i never said we wanted to change the whole front page , was just asking about the shop items.

you said i needed to be more clear , but i put this in writing , sent a screenshot and went to the effort of drawing a circle around each point i spoke about , to make sure we were on the same page.

im sorry, but i think i took just about an many actions as possible to make sure i was clear and we on same page.

i really don’t think this fault is mine

i didnt ask the site to be the same, i just asked how to get our shop on front page looking like the one on the demo. and I drew examples to better point out what i was speaking about .

You have not attached images (you have forgotten or they are too big and were not attached) so I did not see them and provided instructions basing on our description only.

1. Navigate to Woodmart > Header builder > check which one was before you uploaded the Base import, set is as the default.

2. Enter your home page and go to Revisions try to get to the version you had before you uploaded the demo

3. Navigate to the Theme Settings > Footer > Set the layout which you have before and then go to Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and place them to the widget area accordingly. https://gyazo.com/f8efa66c56fd802da99dcf4480d5df2b

If It is not possible, contact your host support they would help you to restore the site. Make full back-up from time to time.

after all that and loosing all the work we did . . the base demo you told me to install still doesnt look anything like what i described/enquired about

we don’t have the 3 feature thing ‘Best Sellers, Featured , Sale section’

and our product pictures are massive

assuming you mean open page>enter code in subject>enter WPbakery>

then go onto save the template.

“Create new page, insert the code, save as a template”
is still a little broad , takes a fair bit of messing around to know exactly what you mean.

Im also unsure how to save template …

those videos i didnt see anything about saving .

first video shows someone creating 3 buttons .

second video shows someone pulling from a template. but not saving . . .
