We have since 2 weeks a very high TTFB which is worrying and we cannot find cause of the problem. I checked the database and the largest auto-loaded data row in wp-options is from your theme. It seems to be loading over a MB of data on each page load which is obviously not good. Please check image attached.
How can we lower this? I need to see if this is the cuase of the problem.

You can remove all Theme Settings backups in your dashboard to remove the first entity. As for Theme Settings, there is no way to disable them completely.
