When I used Woocommerce and your theme to create a Portuguese-language shop, I found that some of the content was in English and not Portuguese, such as the homepage text display for the breadcrumbs and the text for my account, which was in English and not Portuguese.

And I see that the registration and login pages for the site’s member accounts are also present in English and not all in Portuguese!

I’m using TranslatePress to see that the reason for displaying English is that the Woodmart theme’s translations aren’t displaying correctly!

    Hello,

Can you please share the WP admin login detail of your site so I will check the Translatepress settings, although this plugin is not compatible with the theme. If you want to translate the site into Multi languages then you should use the WPML plugin. The WPML plugin is fully compatible with the theme and easy to translate the custom and theme’s strings into multi languages.

You can read more details here:

    Best Regards.

But one serious problem with WPML is that it can slow down a site dramatically. So I don’t want to use WPML, and I have also used your theme to build other websites, and found that if the administrator of the backend management language is Chinese, the front-end of the website will also appear in Chinese, I suspect that it is due to the multi-language compatibility problem of your theme and Woocommerce, and this problem doesn’t need to be solved by using WPML.

And there’s one more important thing you may be able to not understand correctly, I’m not building a multi-language shop, but a single-language shop, I don’t need to use WPML, the only difference is just that Woodmart theme seems to be not correctly recognising the difference between the admin account language and the shop language.

    Hello,

If you want to translate the site only in one language, then you should use the loco Translate plugin on the site.

Please use the Loco translate plugin on your site. After installing the plugin please Navigate to Loco >> Themes >> Woodmart >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.

Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Woocommerce >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.

Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Woodmart-Core >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.

    Note:
    1. Custom (recommended)
    2. This is Loco’s protected folder under “wp-content/languages/loco/” which is safe from automatic updates and provides priority over the above locations.

If this folder doesn’t exist you may need to create it and ensure it has the correct permissions.

But there is a problem, I’ve already checked the string translation before following the tutorial you mentioned, and it is possible to see that the translation exists for the string I’ve selected, but it’s not displayed correctly on the front-end of the site.
And some strings are not searchable for some reason.
That means that certain strings in the Woodmart theme are already present in translation, but are not displayed correctly on the front end of the site, and the Home string in the breadcrumb feature, is not found in the translation plugin.

    Hello,

You can change the login and register text from Theme Settings >> My Account >> Login/Register >> https://ibb.co/5DybGXZ

Also, for the other words translation, you should give me the full access of the site you have not set the correct language file name, you have set the Portuguese Brazil language but use the wrong translation file, you should set the name to woodmart-pt_BR.po and .mo files then the translation will work: https://ibb.co/C3NzNKsd

    Best Regards.

But the only languages in your theme are pt.mo and pt.po, and there is no woodmart-pt_BR.po and woodmart-pt_BR.mo, as you said!
I gave you the account as a webmaster account, which already has all the permissions for the site, I’m not sure what you want the site permissions to refer to.

    Hello,

I need the CPanel logins or FTP logins because I am not able to install the File Manager plugin or any other plugin on the site. I need FTP to rename and set the translation files on your site.

    Best Regards.

    Hello,

Your issue has been solved. I have set up the theme translation files in the wp-content/languages/loco/themes folder. Please check the site now after removing the browser cache.

    Best Regards.

May I ask how you solved this problem? And if I want to set up a German site and a Spanish site, how do I do it?
Can you please give a detailed solution?

    #654314

    Hello,

As I already told you, I have just renamed the translation files, changed the path of the translation files and set them in the wp-content/languages/loco/themes directory.

If you want to translate the site into other languages like Portuguese, German, and Spanish, then you have to use the WPML plugin. Without the WPML plugin, you can not translate the site into Multi languages.

    Best Regards.,
