How to edit the default sidebar

Dear Supporter,

How to edit the default sidebar or create a new sidebar for my website?
I want to change the default sidebar, and I find there is a “Sidebars” control area in the dashboard, but when I add a new one, the new page could not be edited, why?
How to do?

You can create a custom sidebar and select it for the page.

Your screen shows the option I described: You will find the option to create a custom sidebar in the Dashboard > Sidebars.

As soon as you create a sidebar you will see it in Appearance > Widgets.

I can not find anywhere that has these 3 Sidebar control functions.

As soon as you create a custom sidebar in the Dashboard > Sidebars.

You will see this sidebar in Appearance > Widgets, you can add the widgets which you want to show in this sidebar.

When you click to set a custom sidebar in the page options, you will see the drop-down list, showing all default sidebars, and your custom sidebars.
