    Hi,

Attached the image of the site, precisely store on mobile (cc 70% of visits).

There are 2 obvious ways to select products via attributes (color, style, etc).

How to have an obvious one for product categories? Purpose being, for people who want to buy, say a chair, not to be forced to see tables, etc.

You propose several options on desktop (menu on top, widget), but desktop is now marginal, and mobile definitely more important for most.

The 2nd menu in MOBILE BOTTOM NAVBAR is HIDDEN, thus not obviously visible

    Waiting for your feedback

    Kind regards

    Hello,

You can create a Product category menu in Appearance > Menu and then add to the Menu item in the mobile. Find our documentation tutorial about this here: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/adding-menu-to-the-site/

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Hi,
    It’s not obvious.
If I misunderstood, show me an example, or a link to a demo where, when in shop, you IMMEDIATELY see a product category selector
    Kind regards

    Hello,

You can insert the Product category widget in the Shop page widget area: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/?opt=no_page_heading

    Hi,
We are talking about shop on mobile phone.
Attached, your link in mobile view.
For you, the product category selector is obvious? for an average person, who is not in Tech?

    Hello,

The screen you provide shows the hidden sidebar. The content of this sidebar is added in the same way as the default sidebar.

If you want to configure the hidden sidebar, you can do that in the Theme Settings > Product Archive > Sidebar.

Please check this manual to find out how you can add the category menu: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/product-category-menu/ and https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/adding-menu-to-the-site/

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Hi,
You answer without having read, or without having in mind what was written before. This makes of both waste time. Is it your purpose?

The question is how to have an OBVIOUS product category selector???

The sidebar is hidden, yes, it’s always. And on most sites or so, it appears when you click on the MENU icon

Yes, as written before, product category selector can be in the 2nd tab of your sidebar, but then, it’s not obvious.

If I misunderstand, please, send me an image of a mobile view, on shop page (ie site.com/store … and not any special link), where you identify immediately how to get … say only chairs and not all the furniture that is on sale.

    Kind regards

    Hello,

I cannot catch your purpose and give you all the possible options.

Please provide the page and screen with the arrow where you want to show the categories. Please advise how you want them to be displayed: as a grid in the content (where products are) or as a menu in the sidebar/mobile/ or where?

    Best Regards

    Hello,

Please have a look at the screen: https://prnt.sc/Jj4Qpwnza2Ku

You can add the product categories to the shop page widget area, enable the Sticky off-canvas sidebar button in the Theme Settings > Product Archives > Sidebar and add off-canvas sidebar in the Theme Settings > General > Mibile bottom navbar.
