How to insert Created Translation file

Title says it all, I’ve bought Basel and saw that there is translation for Italy, but I got no idea how to make it work. I know there is a language folder inside the theme folder, but just putting the file here won’t work. Things like “My account” etc. needs to be changed, hope you’ll answer soon.

It seems you misunderstood something. Basel theme supplied in English only. You can search in forum maybe there is a file with Italian translation.

Good morning. I’ve already got the translation. I’ve followed the instruction as per video but it won’t pick up the translations. I’m wondering if it is because I’m using the child version of the theme Maybe? Unfortunately the site isn’t online so I can’t really show you. I0’ve tried to delete the cache too, but nothing…

You need to import the translation file. Our video shows how to create the translation file. Please refer the Loco documentation and forum https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/loco-translate/

We do not have the instruction on how to import the file.
