    Hello,

Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.

It seems you mean the child theme, do you? You need to update the parent theme. Here is the guide on how to update: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/

Please the full backup of your site before updating.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

    So the out-dated theme!

    1. Recreate your header in the Header builder: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/

    2. Deactiate and delete the plugins mentioned here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/3-x-4-0-migration-guide/

    4. Deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme, leave these ones only:

    Slider Revolution
    WPBakery Page Builder
    Woodmart Core
    Contact Form 7
    MailChimp for WordPress
    WooCommerce

    4. Save the content of all the widgets in all the sidebars if you have any HTML code or texts to your PC and make screens what and where should be to restore.

    5. Update the theme.

Considering the fact you have not updated the theme for ages you may lose some of your settings and you will have to recreate theme.

    Best Regards

So thats the reason i have been avoiding updating the theme. do you have someone that can do that for me. i honestly don’t want to mess with as I’m in development stage and have other things that I’m focused on. if you do please let me know how much it will cost to do the integration. if you don’t i will need to cancel the order and get a refund on this purchase. thanks !

    Hello,

Please follow the instructions step by step:

    1. Make a full backup of your website files and database.

    2. Turn off all optimizations and cache plugins. Temporarily disable CDN if applied. Delete CMB2 and Redux Framework plugins

    3. Switch to parent theme if you are running a child theme.

    4. Update the theme in one of the traditional ways described in our documentation: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/

    5. Clear your browser cache.

    6. Test if everything is working correctly.

    7. You will have to recreate the header in the header builder: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/

    8. You will have to reconfigure the theme settings.

If you have any questions or difficulties, please contact us.

    Best Regards
