Hello, I would like to ask how to translate some strings, specifically:

    Cart widget

    • Close – button
    • Shopping cart – title

    Header

    • “Hello” – before the username

    Cart

    • SHOPPING CART -> CHECKOUT -> ORDER COMPLETE – in title

I also tried to edit it in the .po file, but with no result. Even some of the above examples were translated there by default, but it did not appear translated on the website.

    Please help.

    Hello,

Please use the Loco translate plugin on your site. After installing the plugin please Navigate to Loco >> Themes >> Woodmart >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.

Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Woocommerce >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.

Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Woodmart-Core >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.

    Note:
    1. Custom (recommended)
    2. This is Loco’s protected folder under “wp-content/languages/loco/” which is safe from automatic updates and provides priority over the above locations.

If this folder doesn’t exist you may need to create it and ensure it has the correct permissions.

If the issue still exists then please send me the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and solve the issue for you.

For more information please read the theme documentation here:

    Best Regards.

Hello, I will definitely try it today. But I want to ask, will these translations remain even after Loco is uninstalled? In the future, I want WPML to use multi domains and language mutations. Thanks

    Hello,

If you are using the WPML Plugin then no need to use the Loco translate plugin. You can easily tranlsate these words from teh WPML >> String Translation section.

    Best Regards.

Hello, thanks for the support. As for WPML, that’s far in the future, so I tried Loco, but everything looks fine there. Even the strings that I wanted to translate are translated by default. The problem is that these strings were not translated on the frontend theme.

    Hello,

I am not able to see the backend of your site, I think you have enabled any restrictions from the server or use any plugin?

    #435446

    Hello,

You can translate more words from the Loco >> Themes >> Edit the translation, change the words, translate and save them.

URL is given in the private content.

I tried to translate it with the help of Loco, but like the strings above, the change did not show up. And I have many more such strings, I don’t want to list them all here.
Did you translate the previous strings only with the help of Loco? Because it already showed me by default that it is translated.

    Hello,

Can you please tell me which words you have translated and not showing on the frontend? Also, share the screenshot.

    Best Regards.

    Hello, thanks for your support.

I’m sending screenshots of strings that I can’t translate.

Please, is it possible to return the translation of the Woodmart admin interface + related plugins back to English?

    Thanks

    Hello,

There is an issue with the 3rd party plugins. Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins and Loco translate plugin on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

    Best Regards.

    Thanks, I’ll try it today.

But what about the thong not found problem in Loco?

    For example
The text for an empty wishlist is not found in Loco
Title for nickname is not found in Loco
The text in the admin for downloaded products is not in Loco

I don’t think these strings will appear after deactivating other plugins, once they’re there they won’t be there either.

    #436043

    Hello,

    1. The empty wishlist is coming from Theme Settings >> Shop >> Wishlist.

    2. Others are not coming from the theme. They are coming from any 3rd party plugins.

    Best Regards.
