You can update the plugins in Appearance > Install plugins. If you have any problems (these problems are often caused by the host security or size max size limitations) you can upload and install via Dashboard > Plugins or FTP.

1. Make the full backup of your site.
2. Deactivate and delete the current version in the Dashboard > Plugins.
3. Upload the new version from your portfolio on this forum.
4. Upload and install in the Dashboard > Plugins.

To take a whole site backup you can use BackUp WordPress Plugin.
Here is the link for plugin:

I have seen your screenshots, there is no such option to add a button like in your screenshot to display the other rest of the category.
But you can add further categories as sub categories of a specific category and then add further categories accordingly in those sub categories.

Your problem is resolved. Actually from the row settings “Default” option was selected in your home page. When I choose “Stretch row and content(no padding’s)” for “Row Stretch” inside row settings it get fixed.

You can check your homepage after clearing your site and browser cache, Now there is no empty space in the left and right of Instagram row.
