Issues and clarifications, while developing with Woodmart theme

1. When we select an attribute (term), on the relevant product archives page, other terms of the corresponding attribute are shown in the sidebar which shouldn’t be.
E.g: Suppose we are developing a book store website and there is an attribute called Authors and there is a term for each author. When we click the author’s name on the single product page, it directs us to the corresponding author’s archive page. On the sidebar of this page, only attributes and terms relevant to this author should be shown and others must be hidden (since they are empty with respect to the selected author). But the sidebar filter shows all the other authors whish are not relevant.

2. Is it possible to show best selling product with respect to the selected time period?
Eg. Weekly, monthly, yearly, all time

01. Can you please share the page url so i will check and give you a possible solution. If you want to hide the other attributes while filtering in sidebar you need to select the query type “And” and in the Widgets:

02. You can add the best selling product in the bottom of the product page by using the custom layout. Try to create a custom layout for a single product page and add the product grid or carousel widget and select the data source best sellers.

01. Attribute filter issue.
Actually I need the Filter query type to be “OR”, since I need to enable multiple selections.
Regarding this, I have attached an image herewith for clarification,

In this case the selected Attribute is Author and term is Joathan Swift.

In the side bar Authors’ filter, it shows all the authors’ names which are irrelevant to the selected product(s). This filter should hide all other authors’ names which are irrelevant, as other attribute filters do.

In the Attribute filters “Publisher” and “Language” only show relevant terms to the products of the selected attribute. All other irrelevant terms are hidden which is perfectly fine. (Selected filter query type is “OR”.)

So, this issue is only with the corresponding attribute filter, to the selected attribute. (In this case it is Author)

Hope you are clear with the explanation and I think this is an issue with the theme.

Also, Authors filter search bar placeholder says “Find a Author”, which should be “Find an Author”. Anyway to change the placeholder?

02. Best selling products.
Here, I want to know, whether we can show
Last 7 days best selling products. (last week)
Last 30 days best selling products. (last month)
Last 365 day best selling products. (last year)

01. If you want to hide the irrelevant attribute after selecting the one attribute, you need to select the query type “OR” in the widget settings.

For change the text Try to use loco translate plugin for this:

02. Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that.
It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.

01. I understand, how “OR” and “AND” query work.
But here, in a category page, it shows irrelevant (empty) attribute terms. Why don’t it hides irrelevant term as other attribute filters do?

So can you explain to me, why in the archive/category page “Jonathan Swift”, one attribute filter hides irrelevant terms and other doesn’t while both the filters use “OR” query type?

Because you are using others attributes (Author, Publisher, Language) in these products that is why it is showing relevant results.

In the Cart Page and Checkout Page, prices appears in two rows (desktop view). Can we reduce the with of the Product Column and increase the widths of Price and Subtotal Columns to avoid this?

This happens only when there are products with long titles.

Please check this. The title doesn’t wrap properly for long titles.

I have several queries please,

1. Is there anyway to add HIDDEN products to “Edit Products (Grid or Carousal)” element, as in “WC Products widget”?

2. The “QUICK VIEW” box does not center in the viewport and move up and down with the scroll. Is there anyway we can center the quick view box in the viewport?
Can we adjust the height of the quick view box without changing the width?

3. Do we have open products in a new window feature?

4. Can we adjust the number of product columns in the “Wishlist” page?

5. Can we add add an icon (to a button) on the header? Ex. Add mobile icon to the phone number (as in prebuilt headers).
When I add images (SVG), I have a issue adjusting sizes of those images.

6. Is there anyway that we can import Headers and Pages from prebuilt websites without importing the whole site?
