exe65ParticipantHello,
I created a list and form on Mailchimp. Then i established a connection to the website via API key through the Mailchimp plugin (it says it’s connected). I also inputed a thank you page into the settings.
Then i input an email address into the form and nothing happens. Popup goes away and i’m not redirected to the thank you page. And then when i open the newsletter again (manually at the top right corner) – i get a warning – see picture in attachment.
Can you please advise?
Thank you,

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not? You can place the mailchimp shortcode on some test page and check how it works without popup.
Regards

exe65ParticipantHello,
I switched to twentysixteen and the problem is the same. I also inputed the code on a subpage and it’s the same. So it’s an issue with mailchimp? Strange as it says it’s connected. I will take a look.
Tell me something, when the user is not loged in, the newsletter doesn’t show up and when i click on the link of the newsletter in the top bar it just returnes webpagetitle/#. Is there an option somewhere when this option is disabled for non loged in users ?
Thank you,

exe65ParticipantPs: I figured out the issue. You have to insert “name*” tag into the form. It was marked with red in the form settings.
<p>
<label>Ime</label>
<input type=”text” name=”FNAME” required=””>
</p>And then the newsletter works. But i don’t want the name field. Is there a solution for this?

Artem TemosKeymasterActually, it should work without the name field as well. It works correctly on our demo for an example.

exe65ParticipantUncle Google found a solution: Mailchimp-> audience -> manage audience -> signup forms-> Audience fields and *|MERGE|* tags, then i unchecked the “name” requirement. I have to check the list, becouse there the name should be required.

Artem TemosKeymasterGreat, we are glad that you sorted it out.
