Migration Site

Well, we have the same problem with site migration when we have our site on the subdomain during the development. After finished the project we want to migrate to the main domain.

During this process we have a follow problems:

– Always, we need to import Header Builder Options ( for some reason this information stay losed.)
– Page theme Options be losed too

By default, we export the database. So, we used the sublime editor to find/replace the urls from database. The most boring, it is losing header options. We always have to be import this definitions. Also, the page theme options have the same problem.

Can be related with the urls replace process?? What do you suggest to resolve this problem? We lose a lot of time with this problem… we want this be faster on future.

Hello,

We don’t know why the header builder is lost after the migration. To check this ourselves, we need an access to your website and the database. Also, send us two databases: one that you exported and one with replace URLs. We will try to import the database ourselves and check why it doesn’t work as you expected.

Ok, When we need to migrate a website to the main domain. We will send you a message, so you can check what is happing with database. We check on forum that you advise a plugin for sites migration.
