    Hello Xtemos Team,

    We have a couple questions about configuring the mobile menu.

    1) Is it possible to have a sub menu in the mobile menu, similar to the default sub menu for My Account? Please see screenshot. We have a menu item with several sub-menu items set up, but the sub-menu items aren’t appearing.

    2) In the mobile bottom navbar, can we change the cart icon to a cart icon, similar to what we can do with the cart icon for the header navs? Please see screenshots.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    01. The HTML Blocks for the Mega Menus don’t work for the Mobile. You need to create a separate Menu under the Dashboard > Appearance > Menus with simple classic style (i.e. Parent item > Sub item > Sub item) and then set that menu for the Mobile under the Header Builder.

    Further, you can read these Menu related guides of the Theme Documentation:
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/create-mega-menu/
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/adding-menu-to-the-site/

    02. Please try adding the following Custom CSS in the Custom CSS for Mobile area under Theme Settings >> Custom CSS.

    .wd-header-cart .wd-tools-icon.wd-icon-alt:before {
        content: "\f105";
        font-family: "woodmart-font";
    }

    Best Regards.

    Thank you for the CSS for the cart—worked perfectly!

    For the first question, that’s exactly how we have it set up but just figured out how to fix… Please see screenshots of backend menu structure and how it displays on the mobile menu. Not sure if this is a bug but if the menu item is a “Shop” page, the sub menus don’t work. We fixed by putting all the submenu items under a custom link.

    Xtemos Team,

    We also had one more question about configuring the mobile menu… We have the search bar active with “All post types” selected, but on the frontend, it says “Search for posts”. Is it possible to change this text to say “Search for posts and products” or “Search site”?

    Hello,

    01. Sorry for the inconvenience but as you know that for the Desktop view, there is a Mega Menu that is created with the HTML Blocks. So, the Menu created with HTML Blocks doesn’t work for the Mobile view.

    So, for the Mobile Menu you need to create a separate Menu under the Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > there you need to create a separate Menu with a multi-level structure without the HTML Block selection i.e. the structure should be like this Parent Item -> Sub-Item -> Sub-Item.

    Then go to Dashboard > WoodMart > Header Builder > there edit your current Header Layout > go to Mobile view > there edit the Mobie Menu element > in that open the Show/Hide tab > there select the respective new Menu that you just created: https://snipboard.io/uBOarw.jpg

    Then when you view the Menu under the Mobile Menu, it will appear fine.

    02. Sorry to say but there isn’t a direct option available to change the mentioned text. Please try using the Loco Translate plugin on your Site in this regard, here is the Theme Documentation guide related to that: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/translate-woodmart-theme-with-loco-translate/

    Feel free to contact us, if you need any further assistance. We are always there for your help.

    Best Regards.
