Mobile menu not working after theme update to 7.1.3

    Hello,

    I’ve updated Woodmart to 7.1.3. All working fine except the mobile menu isn’t displaying at all. It’s taken me a week to notice this issue, so it’s too late to simply roll back.

    I’ve checked all the settings for the mobile menu and cant spot anything amiss so I’m stumped.

    Please can you point me in the right direction?

    Hello,

    Sorry to hear about the inconvenience but on your Live Site, can you please once make sure your WoodMart theme and Core plugin is updated to the latest version and then check back the issue again on your Site. The latest version of the Theme running is 7.1.4 and the Core version running is 1.0.36. If it is not updated then you can update the Theme and Core following the Documentation Guide: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/

    If the issue still persists after updating the Theme and Core plugin, then could you please once try deactivating all the third party Plugins on your Site, remaining the Theme required ones activated. If the issue gets resolved, then reactivate them one by one to see which Plugin is causing the issue. If this doesn’t work for you then once also, try to activate the Parent Theme on your Site if you are using Child Theme on your Site.

    If somehow the issue still persists, then please take complete Backup of your Site first, then provide us the WP-ADMIN Login details of your Site in the Private Content field along with the permission to completely debug your Site which includes deactivating all the third party Plugins and removal of on-Site Customization changes too, so that we can thoroughly check this issue on your Site and assist you accordingly.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply. I’ve updated the Woodmart theme to 7.1.4. Please could you confirm which Core version 1.0.36 you mean?

    I’m using WooCommerce version Version 5.7.2 and WordPress version: 6.1.1

    Hello,

    The WoodMart Core plugin version should be at 1.0.36. It’s the Theme’s Core functionality plugin which also needs to be on its latest version in order for things to work correctly. So, please make sure to have it updated too.

    After that if the issue still persists then try out the earlier told third party Plugins deactivation and Parent Theme activation change once and if you still face issue then take complete Backup of your Site and share your Site WP-ADMIN Logins with us so that we can proceed further with checking the issue.

    Hi,

    I updated the Core plugin to 1.0.36, then deactivated all third party plugins. The mobile menu still not working.

    Then, switched from Woodmart Child Version: 1.0.0 to Parent theme 7.1.4 – mobile menu works!!!

    What is the best way forward? I don’t want to loose all the customisations in my Child theme.

    So, now as you have checked this concern further on your Site and the issue was at the Child Theme, so this clears the fact that the issue isn’t at the Theme end but specifically happening due to the Customization of the Child Theme.

    And your mentioned concern certainly comes under that which is why we are unable to help you with that. You might need to ask your Developer to reconsider the Custom Code changes done in your Child Theme or hire any third party developer for this purpose.
