danhanton11ParticipantHi there,
Sorry – I’ve just tried to follow the instructions you left on how to make a drop down header and I can’t quite understand what you mean. Below is what you said:
‘Hello,
You need to create a two-level menu (menu item and sub-menu item) in Appearance > Menu. Then add the Secondary menu element in the Header builder and chose this created menu.
Best Regards’
Are you able to elaborate?
Many thanks
Dan

Please read and follow these detailed instructions: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/create-menu-2/ and https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/adding-menu-site/

danhanton11ParticipantThanks for this. It doesn’t seem to be able to do that on a menu with the logo in the middle?
Many thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Do you mean this layout? https://woodmart.xtemos.com/demo-shoes/demo/shoes/
It is possible. Mega menu does not depend on the menu design.
It is not supported by the mobile, and as for the desktop it is applied in any header design.

danhanton11ParticipantHi there,
I’m having trouble with the section dividers on my site. I can make them look good on the desktop version of my site by adjusting margins etc…, but on every other screen size you can see a gap (I assume the border).
I’ve attached a screenshot below for clarification.
I’ve no idea how to work section dividers and get rid of these spaces behind the section divider.

danhanton11ParticipantHi Elise,
Apologies – I managed to fix it.
On a side note, is it possible to make a single product page the home page? I can’t work out how.
Many thanks
Dan

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
No, you cannot make a product page as the home page. You can install a redirection plugin and redirect the home page to the product page, however it is not very good for SEO.

danhanton11ParticipantHi,
I’m just wondering whether it is possible to move a widget to the bottom of a page when i’ve added it in the functions php file.
This is the text I added to the functions php file.
if ( function_exists( ‘wc_yotpo_show_widget’ ) ) { add_action( ‘woocommerce_after_single_product’, ‘wc_yotpo_show_widget’, 15 ); }
https://www.drip-hydration.co.uk/shop-2-0/ – As you can see from the URL, it is automatically added just after the single product, however, I’d like it to appear just before the footer.
IS this possible?
Many thanks
Dan

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
If you go Appearance > Widgets, you can find Footer column 1, Footer column 2 and you can add widgets in the button.
Also, you can to do the following:
1. Create a custom Sidebar in Dashboard > Sidebars;
2. Add the widgets to this sidebar;
3. Create HTML block in Dashboard > HTML block
4. Add Widgetized Sidebar element and chose your custom sidebar;
5. Add this HTML block ID shortcode to the Theme Settings > Fotter > pre-footer.
You can add this HTML block any place of your site: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/html-blocks-2/

danhanton11ParticipantHi Elise,
Just in response to you saying that a redirect from the shop page to a single product page isn’t very good for SEO – can I ask why?
If there is no content on the original shop page, does it make a difference?
Many thanks
Dan

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The shop page is the functional page. If you have created at least one product, the shop page would show it. Search engines do not rate them hight. In any case, you decide. You will need a redirection plugin.

danhanton11ParticipantHi there,
I’ve just noticed that on the safari browser, some images on the website don’t work. Some do, but none of those on the home page do. What could the reason for this be?
Many thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please make the full backup of your site as well as the Theme settings export and check the issue on the Storefront theme to detect if our theme causes the problem. Storefront is a free theme developed by Woocommerce.
Best Regards
