    Dear,

I’m afraid to say that I don’t really like the new layout/style of the backend theme settings.

    1) When naviguate across the settings (example Typography > Basic), the length of the screen is now becoming too long, it’s too long to scroll because everything takes too much space now.

    2) Also we used to have CLEAR columns (left, setting name | right, setting values) in screenshot A, this used to have the advantage to present all settings on the screen very CLEARLY. All settings names on left columns, and all setting values on right column.

Now everyting is mixed up in screenshot B : title, followed below by setting name, followed below by setting values. I don’t like it, it’s really NOT CLEAR. Please bring back the COLUMNS that used to be very very very clear.

Now tes the new style is “moden” but I don’t care to have a style that is modern. I don’t care about the style, I want USER-FRIENDLY dashboard where I can easily VISUALLY work on my settings. And I don’t want to keep scrolling and scrolling across all the settings that now take 10x more space on the screen because you don’t use COLUMNS anymore, which used to be much BETTER.

Please revert back this bad choice. Seriously look for instance at the Single Product setting, we need to SCROLL and SCROLL and SCROLL to see all the settings. Why do you need to take so much space for just a few settings ?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Following option design was chosen by several reasons:

    1. Standardization of CSS styles.
    2. Optimizing CSS styles size and performance.
    3. One overall theme dashboard design.
    4. Better layout in narrow places such as page metaboxes, popups, attributes with fewer CSS to achieve it. (https://prnt.sc/pcBlx8aPQoxb)
    5. Better responsive look on 13 inch netbook devices with fewer CSS to achieve it. (https://prnt.sc/XSGfavWSjsFr)
    6. Implementation of options columns with fewer CSS to achieve it. (https://prnt.sc/TfSc3v1ekNKe)
    7. More place for large option controls (https://prnt.sc/HX6UuN1Vwt5z) such tabs, typography, images set, text arias, multiselect inputs without the need to adjust the appearance of the option every time the position of the option or the width of the container is changed.

Now same option styles is used between theme settings, page metaboxes, posts type setting, theme popups, header builder, WPBakery elements etc. This allows us to create one standard for theme dashboard design, shorten style.css file, optimize page speed and make it easier to add new options in the future.

    Kind Regards
